I called them this afternoon and they were extremely helpful. They're looking into it for me. Edit: I went thru Infinity Futures however... not Transact directly Update: I just got a call back after the close from the Transact tech guy directly. They found a bug, are testing a fix tomorrow, and will implement the fix on Friday. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly then. I like Infinity... but their crazy feed was driving me nuts this week.
Neutralized, yet longs come back and end in the zone(maybe just eod close thing not sure). Thinking two possible scenarios now, upper end of zone holds and shorts refill or lower end holds. http://www.charthub.com/images/2009/06/10/Untitled_1_5.png
Hi AMT, hoping you're having a good vacation! . . . . next week is rollover and Sep contract maturity volume should start picking up soon, I believe . . . As you post through into next week, would you mind pointing out some intricacies/details relating to this, where applicable?
Rollover is tomorrow as far as i know... All Prop and Pro traders roll over to Sep tonight for tomorrow... But not sure when AMT rolls his work over... need to know that...
Yeah, I've seen the volume change roughly a week in advance of the actual maturity, but it does vary on many occassions . . . I've seen volume "flip" as close as 2-3 days to maturity . . . . I actually look for a contract maturity vol to exceed the other before making the switch . . . . afterall, I'm a really just a speckle of a trader in AMTs world . . .
If that is the case, then we'd see quite a few AH/EOD run ups in price over the next few days, no? . . .
this rollover is unusual because the seps are trading below the junes, and thats with 3 months premium added
that is the obvious conclusion, not trying to slight u , but we've rallied nearly 300 points in this short biased mrkt, the 4 point difference, not counting the interest is unusual and should not be considered the norm, and tradinfg should be extremely defensive as the whales take advantage of the sheep at every turn
