price broke 949 in ah.... i really should be sleeping.. amt, what's going on here? it seems like the sellers are out of steam and now they're all trapped! thanks W
tradingbug, what is in the 3rd panel below your chart out of interest? looks like you have 1volume 2delta 3? 4tick? just out of interest. cheers.
10:16AM: just took profits on the above trade with Qs at 36.63. Guys: you tasted some of my trades. But I cannot continue posting as I do not want AMT to get mad at me! So I will step to the side. I may even have a question for AMT if he can still talk to an enemy .It is an honest question to know some information.
Unfortunately your ENTIRE comment here has ZERO reality to it......are just completely LOST as to what we have been saying here???
No......."net" short holders are running the profile in a LOW VOLUME AH session environment......this is how they BUILD there positions and improve cost basis. As you can see, they sold right as the price returned to that upper price delta zone I had mentioned before......the one formed just after the news release the other morning. 953.50 to 957.50 They pulled off running price through they range (in a very low volume environment) while not at all putting all their held "net" short inventory at risk..........now once they completed that improvement of the cost basis of their core holdings they drive price away and put their position well into the money again. http://www.charthub.com/images/2009/06/10/ES__CD.png
Chart now added to that posting I made. Last night as price approached that upper news release created Delta Zone (I called it a sub zone in a previous post here as it was a price zone ABOVE where all the core holdings remained - 946's to 949's) you should have sold that return with such a HUGE net short holdings remaining in place. In other words, last nights AH session was a gift given to you by bigger players running the range to improve/build there positions as they prepare for a big sell off just ahead. THEY can't MASK what they are doing so you might as well join in their major set-up going down here.
AMT, Great explanation. Is it possible that commercials use low volume AH sessions to cover their shorts and improve their net short positions from a cost basis? I thought AH sessions aren't traded by commercials and usually is just smaller traders... Thanks,
