Intuition Amplifiers 2

Discussion in 'Psychology' started by MAESTRO, Feb 27, 2013.

  1. That's just trickery. there is zero understanding behind it, like teaching a monkey to read. A gimmick, nothing more, nothing less. While you may be "processing" the information, it in no way enhances the intuitive ability that comes from deep understanding of why.

  3. I came across this thread yet again, but but this time from page 1. I did not recognize it, and read. It was a bit deceiving as the dates are changed, I read as the situation implied that you would be in a position to sum of years of work or posts at least.

Admittedly, I only got to the first 2 or 3 posts. from there it became clear that small pictures that don't fill up the screen wont be a trend. I saw the the pages.

I'm not sure how to read the data, but my intuition said to move to the last page where I opened a thesis which had some familiar terms in the index so I closed it.

I tried 2 doors. both led to unknowns and unknowns are known to wast time. I love the sea of data, I cant read it like most and I have to eat. You make me feel like this just may be a good thing.

So I now come to the cumulative he who holds the index and has the research. I don't think a computer can guide me on where the main selling point (for me) would be. Once I have the main selling point I can start to trust my intuition a bit. But I now its limits.

Actually each of those who fail can only blame there intuition.

Hope comes in and leads me down the wrong path, It looks for complex ideas at times, other times it favours simple ideas covers the ext reams. Lucky for me I don't have the resources to make a AI system that models the worlds. I still tried to convince some one to.

    Anyways,

I came to the collective or the present to be guided. Here we have the issue of the index. Turns out that the stupid little thing my grade 3 teacher was trying to teach me is what I look for. I found the index a wast of time but as you see, in my writing, the index, date, name and bibliography were the needed points to skim by. It amused me how much free marks were given. French was funny, it was separated one could get a 0 in writing and pass with good marks ! I was getting back negative points on my tests but they did not fit well in to the percent formilea.

So you can see how one can get lost and give up on reading, If not I can go on.

The index, seems to be what I search for. I have learnt that if it is lacking to go to the front. Here is where my things get tricky.
The reason for data or writing to be submitted is not known. In a world where information is power it is questioned.

Yet at the same time, Human nature has its need to connect, information is used to do this. but in this case the index is a negative for the data giver. with the index one can take out only what he or she wants.

This would be a bad thing to the data provider if his intentions were to connect over profit. The issue is amplified when it is learnt that point one to the answer be seen by others,

Not only this, but he may himself give out the index, which would cripple the nice guys intentions.

Now the data provider has a delema, he must hide the answer. demand loyalty, confirm it, and double check it. From there he gives bits and pieces.

Maybe the answer is not even in the thread or data any more.
Enter the multitude of posts vague in nature jumping form here to there referencing valid things and then invalid things are referenced out of regret for being to forward. one starts to keep track. only 1 % of the posts should have answers so in come the 100 posts.

    Im not talking about you.

The intuition is almost useless. As soon as one learns the game he can profit off it . If you get taken for a ride and then come to cash register. you know that the marketer being funded will always be a better sales man.

At this point intuition is actually doing the opposite of what it should.
It is easy to market something simple. the provider knows I know this. I conclude that good marketers that be wiser then me will have complex ideas. and bad marketers will have easy idea.

Now I am doing the opposite i ignore the extreams and look in the middle.

Sorry to jump in the thread like this. I know i do it often.

Your first posts were about using intuition to go through data, I thought I would share this to show the Delema, if not for the nice guy, at least to advance the field of marketing

  4. The beautiful thing about this is the economy of thought. You see the answer because you see math as a series of connections so you have a visual construct in your mind. Fantastic.

It's a drill to begin with that takes up most of the capacity to think and then it moves to a state of rapid action. When we miss the economy of thought we have to replace it with complexity and that leads to error, stress and confusion for many. It is certainly slower and many kids don't enjoy math.

Maestro asked for a simple connection to be made in order to better understand his use of what we all learned at school: that large quantities of data can be easier and faster understood when displayed as a graph. Then complex relationships can be assimilated faster by using shapes and finally shapes can be understood at a deeper level with color shading. Combine all three into a dynamic real time display and your speed of thought is more like the kids in the video.

The trick is that not only is it faster and more efficient, but it leaves your mind free to work on the real problem and that is, what action needs to be taken.

I guy I know is a master in a martial art and he demonstrates fighting with a blindfold on. It is all based on drills that move you on to a non thinking state until your focus is on things not connected to what your hands are doing. You begin to sense what your opponent must do.

So what is your opponent doing in the trade? Watch the shape and shading!

If they are also good traders, they likely all make money in the long run, despite the opposing views.

Not because chart reading is "wrong". But because every trader is focused on "his" stuff. Isolating your personal signals from the noise and intentionally "turning off" your vision of the rest of the picture is what ironically leads to trading success. Less is more. :)

  7. Most people who are familiar with the progresssion of professional trading know the history of when and why different extentions of the professional came into being.

From 400 years ago to 1957, there were about 100 significant inventions added to profession trading tooling.

For me, it was fun to go through the the transition from "before charts" to "after charts" as a trader. you came on the scene much later and didn't get educated.

You may notice that you only trade with chicken feed and have no skills, knowledge or talent in your environment.

The financial Industry has always been owned by C+ History majors from Ivy League schools. Its standards come from the noblese oblige.

Science and technology is not developed in the financial industry since the industry is only commissions and fees oriented.

The information grouping on this display change color as an information group fills. This is just information on the dependent variable. The independent variable is still clean and unprocessed in appearance in the display.

By processing the independent variable which leads the dependent variable the tooling of the professional trader is such that he "always knows that he knows".

Taking the full offer of the market is something that, so far, is unknown to you. You have never seen the markets, as yet, in your life. And by now your mind has been made irreversibly unable to be able to see the markets in reality.

There is no evidence that the use of the soroban increases mathematical ability. It does however change the way the brain does that specific type of calculations (more concentrated to the visual/spatial parts). If you practice with an abacus for 4 hours a day or if you practice with pen and paper for 4 hours a day one method does not necessarily come out as a winner.

Please elaborate on how your IAs have been inspired by the abacus.

Here is one of my favorite songs by my hero - John Lennon. It is somewhat an obscure song, but it has been my theme song for many years. It is called "INTUITION" Enjoy!
