One more question if you allow: what was your criteria of a "trader" for those experiments? Some professional benchmark or anything else?
Not Maestro, but still comment. I have a very good impression from this book, mostly as a set of examples, which confirm the intuitive abilities and encourages reader to pay more attention to this sphere.
I have read all of the Malcolm Gladwell books and much more on the same subject. I have also participated in his talks and have lots of similar research done in my lab. So, not that âthinking Without Thinkingâ fits IAs â it is their main concept!!!! The whole purpose of my IA and all of my research it to design practical tools to do the âblinkâ thinkingâ efficientlyâ. IA are the enhancers of that type of thinking if you will. I will be glad to help you in any effort of you educating on the subject!
Aha! I think I am starting to understand your language. It is interesting to mention at this point that all of my research and IAs are also based on tape reading and book reading techniques. So, any desire to discuss the states?
BTW, baron has recovered the original thread. If any of the participants desire to repost their thoughts please let me know; I can do it for you now. Thank you very much, baron, for your help and efforts, much appreciated! Cheers, MAESTRO
So you tested them before the experiment on the matter of decision making timing? I am asking these questions, because as you know, run little online traders community and wonder if I could collaborate with participants to perform experiments, which could probably help to shed the light on various innovative concepts, including IA of course (using it as a general acronym to describe the whole lot of phenomenons).
Night here already, so going to continue my participation in the thread on Sunday. Everyone have a good weekend!
I would love to, however, between the launch of a few gadgets and my book I barely have time to post on ET. May be later?
