What do you mean by "ADEQUATLY" I mean describing what will probably happen with respect to the market closing either up or down the next day. I am aware many people use neural nets and other tools to predict prices to augment their trading decisions. For such work it is necessary to define causative variables. But my only use of probability is to form an opinion of the 'market context' within which I will be trading.
