  1. McCain could have had it in the bag by opposing the bailout. That was his last chance.

  2. McCain's a doddering old foo. Much like Dole ... he never had a chance.

  3. McCain's intrade numbers will recover after the bailout is passed and the stock market surges even more. Also, expect Obama to make a gaffe during the remaining debates.

keep in mind that there is still 34 more days. We can't afford to have Obama meddling with the interests of big oil.

  4. Don't worry. She set the bar so low that she is bound to get positive press coverage and Biden will be paned.

  5. At this point, Palin's bar is set so low... all she has to do Thursday night is just show up, say something like "hockey mom" .....and she will be declared the winner.

I think Katie Couric really did a number on her..... I mean Palin looked bad, very bad... like no clue about anything... and CNN and MSNBC keep replaying over and over.

Like I said... I think Palin will step down or something.

  9. Oh, you mean like the one that was largely written before the writers even knew who would present it?

  10. Unbelievable that anyone could possibly characterize that speech as 'hers'. Every word of it was written for her.
