Deception is biological trait of all good predators and we are the best. We have no natural predators except ourselves. Oyr predatory behavior shows now in competitive activities. Where we tey to best our opponent by any (socially accepted) means possible
"Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive" .... ourselves into believing it's not us, it's the market. The market did it to us.
Soylent Green was released in 1973 and in the movie it is 2022. Cause of all the problems? Green House Gasses.
Funny that people see market as some magical entity that moves in some strange way on its own. Even as a crappy noob trader i understand that its not like that.
Every outlier seems impossible until you find it. Traders are no different. You won't believe anyone makes money at this until you do it yourself or know someone well that does. To answer your question: Yes, people make money trading. It's not a zero sum game for everyone. But you won't believe me since someone will quickly tell you the opposite. It's been this way for decades.
I mean basic logic would tell that if people didnt make money then someone like tim sykes or cameron fous and all other day traders would not be trading for 20 years. But i belive the reason why most new traders have same issue "this market doesnt make sense" Is because of the level of manipulation and deception is unreal in the market Its like playing poker but with millions of players holding cards. I mean the institutions and trading chatrooms alone have massive advantage over regular traders where they can plan to influence the market and profit from it While individual traders can only respond to a movement They cant cause shit lol Thats why only less than 10% make money Their web is spread further into the market so if someone pulls a string they hear it and react before everyone else
