intraday indicators

I'm with Volente, MACD works best for me when it's ranging. Defined trend? Well why would you need an indicator to tell you it's trending, when you already know it's trending?

 

do you use this strategy in real time? what is your success rate?

 

MACD by itself is too rough to be an accurate indicator. As correctly presented by Lorenzo, it is when MACD is referenced with a suitable independent MA that it can begin, to a degree, to give a playable account of itself.

 

i've started to apply ADX w/ MACD and i've seen some nice results overall
