  1. all part of the speeding up curve. The 4 hr has another 2 hrs to go and a lot of energy for the downside, then a big pull back and a bigger move down.

Often before news the market goes dead and I use the 1 min and the tick charts to position and re position. Lots of 5 - 10 point moves and then bang, the ATM loads up.

That little 1 min pullback looks innocent, but when it's banging the T/L it can pay big time.

Later I'll show where the emotion on the daily chart is and give a brief lesson on how I draw T/L using the 5 points of emotion - it will help you understand how/where emotion breaks a market.

This is something a developed from techniques an old timer used in the 20's but it's been forgotten. I studied his intraday techniques and saw something he didn't. Pretty unique.

  2. Cool, I'm feeling how every dimension added improves skills and guess another one will have the same effect. :p

  5. kal I'd expect dozens of trades to fire off in a range like that.

Have you tried using 3 sigma bands - one much shorter and one much longer? The short one will be mostly inside your own Sigmas and the big one will give the much, much bigger swings.

In this thread, even if you were accurate to the pip, 120pip range is not the way we trade. I hope you are posting in a position trading thread because that information could be very useful there.

  6. Kal, yeah your setups are interesting, but seems like don't quite fit in definition of "intraday plays"... Maybe that's why your post do not get much response...

  9. During Asian session are virgin daily pivots, supports and resistances - both floor and DeMark magnetic.
with very high probability if the price is not far from such unpenetrated pivot point and we see some movement in that direction we can take a trade without fear - the pivot will be as minimum tested.
In US session it can 10x move and retrace back and forth.
