I totally agree with yoohoo! The paradox of the fact that I learned to use 1min fine entries is that I actually look LESS at 1min and MORE on what is the really important intraday picture (1H and above)... Great analogy about the treasure chest and the keys... Need to know first what lock you are going to open to apply needed of all the keys in your hand.
Closed long @ b/e. Looking uncertain. ***Added a minute later: yes really the pressure is DOWN.... Gameplan gameplan gameplan!!!
This time my mistake was not holding to a strong short gameplan and reversing on a so-so long signal and not reversing back short when it failed...
yoohoo, I was indeed having a hard time yesterday as I was trying to move to the 1 minute where I had been trading of the 5 min for the last month and a half. Things felt totally different and my frame of reference totally abandoned me. Your desciption of driving a formule1-car without the driving experience fits perfectly here. Hope this transition doesn't take too long. It feels like I am relearning everything back again here. Will try to take the bigger picture better into mind.
Useless trade it turned out to be for me - squared @ b/e. P. S. Hate ET's post once in a minute rule.... Makes post way far from realtime when you trade 1min and post actively, LOL...
