I just took a short position when it broke the 580 level where it had been getting support for the last couple hours. We shall see what happens.
We all had to start somewhere. You got lots of homework before you do any more reading of the thread. Google trend lines and get the basic principles and then print out hard copies of charts - lots of them - all different TF's - and take a pen and straight edge and go crazy drawing lines. You won't get the same feedback on a screen and you need to keep these in a folder and look at your work on TL's and how it develops. Take note of how a big TF's TL acts upon smaller TF's. You'll need at least 2 weeks of intensive TL work before you read the how-to's in the thread and then you'll need to start at the beginning of the thread again. PM me after you've done that and I'll check you how you have progressed.
Good morning all! Wow, you guys did a lot of posting work while I was sleeping... Feel myself so lazy as only devote like 15h a day, not 18...
Here's my view. You got a lot of work ahead before you trade unless this is a paper trade. I'd suggest you wait until you have done your TL learning and then read and absorbed the thread.
Yoohoo I will take the homework assignment and get to work right away. I'll let you know when I've got some good trend line experience under my belt. I work long hours so it might not take an entire week but we shall see how it progresses. Thanks.
Just to make myself clear... there is the work required and the time for that work to take place and the time for the light to dawn and the dawning experience can't be rushed
BKV, everyone on this tread works 12 or 15 hours days, such as YH, CF, CV, and myself.. Just think of those poor women behind us, LOL As CV and CF would tell ya, HSI futures adapted itself to T/L very very well, especially after they introduced the Closing Auction for stocks, correct T/L helps a lot.
