unfilled short @ 10:41, the limit order price was alright, didn't turn of the floating +/- 5 pts in the broker software, didnt' get fill. still happy in a way, that move is a 60% range move since the stock market opens at 10am (futures contract opens at 9:45)
morning guys, eurusd has been ranging of sorts for the last 5+ hours. Any hint as to which way it breaks.
Morning all. Will, just curious. You use aastock to trade HSI? Is it a very good one? I've tried the demo of SP Trader, not very impressive.
Nowadays I can see mighty move on the index, and I consider the trades I want to take are correct, if not, at least improved.. As with the example Banjo gave out last night, driving; and CF would know I am a car-mad.. It's like a bad "heel and toe" downshift on a manual, you touched the broke with you toe and you dipped the gas with you heel while you left foot dip the clutch, then you shift the stick to a lower gear, if you get wrong in one details, you mis-shift, the car is not in gear, you are going too fast in front of a corner without any engine braking.. I mastered that after a few months But what's stopping me from getting the result I want from trading? why I am slow in that slipt seconds for so many trades? This I need to change..
hi Pipal, AAstocks for charts only, used to use Metastock.. My broker is Phillips Security Main Branch, I use their platform to trade. Tried TWS from IB, didn't like it.
Technical bigger picture view is the following: we are obviously in a move down. At a current point we may test 1.57 again or continue lower right from here (under resistance and retraced already to some degree now)... Fundamental view is so mixed: half of Bloomberg asked specialists say Euro to go down well, half - up...
Well I was feeling that a large down move was most likely to happen soon. I don't know if what is currently happening is that move or not but i had some shorts in and lucked out with this move.
Agree, it looks pretty bearish at the moment. Unless standing above 650 and trading up to test 700. Otherwise should look for shorting opportunities upon pullbacks under 650.
