  3. back again for a few mins - got to leave again

    tomorrow much the same for me - lots of interruptions

    anyway, here's an update to the 1 hr chart. Note how the bars react to the daily EMTL (red straight dotted). I'm looking for the 5-points of emotion to line up with this line.

    will, u might pm spyder,or ask yh, i dont think the macd works on 1 min unless u adjust the numbers, u r stilll using 12,26 i dont remember but spyder had em at something like 5,6

    IMO it's a myth that certain indicator settings "work" or "don't work" from market to market and timeframe to timeframe.... From my experience MACD setups are exactly the same on 1min as on 1 week charts....

    What really needs to be trained is a trader's mind to see what indicator really shows and what it does not.

    Some adjust indicator settings to those which are seen better by them (of course it's absolutely OK, cause we all have different perception of reality through the prism of our unique personality)... Some simply take standard setting and practice with it enough so that it also begins to "work" for them...

    IMO any indicator with any settings is like a carpenter's tool: a lot of different hammers exist for example and they all "work" in skilful hands and for sure are cause of painfully hit fingers in unskilful... :D
