  2. Yea it was just a quick scalp, not more.

Agree on trend words... Indeed we get much better hitrate and r/r if remember what big TF swing direction is.

  3. Good - seeing with the thought "looks toppy" is first light

    Seeing and predicting is next

Seeing, predicting and planning what to do follows

    Working your plan comes next

    Then working it better

    Next working it well

Finally counter trending on the 1 min if it has structure.

Where did you get to in this progression so I know where to "prod" you ;)

  4. Yoohoo,

My current stage is a strange combination of "it looks toppy" big TF reading and successful low TF countertrend scalping. :)

  5. LOL - typical Russian - gets the hard part working first!

Will think on what to do about that

Seems like somehow you're not rolling your TF's? Remember each TF has weight of money to push and time to fulfill.

  6. Haha, yeah it always amazes japanese and other foreigners how russians can fly to space and still have a slarling-house type toilets in many places (damn cold in winter)... :D

Will really appreciate if you help me to direct my efforts in a right way...

BTW, what do you mean by rolling TFs?

  7. ok let me think and see how we can nail this thing

Rolling TF's... is like a buy on 1 min... see 2 min signal, 3 then 5 then 15 signals - I want to stay as long as I can.

So I said 30 minutes back stay short - market bounces from a screamer 1 min hammer/doji... it becomes a Doji on 5 min and nice fluid move up... but pressure is down.

So I see the long signal all the way from 1 to 5 min but before it can roll over to the 15 min it tops out as I expected and trend down continues.

If you scalped this up you must know the primary trend was down - so with PIB you had a paid-for low risk reverse.

Will keep think about what you said...

    So is this correct?

    1. Got AM Gameplan correct up
    2. Saw 4 hr and its implications
    3. Action seems to indicate either didn’t have a plan on exactly how to proceed OR didn’t work the plan to ride this down.
    4. 150 pip down move and counter trend traded it (need to be real sharp and cunning to do that)

    CF can you confirm 1. & 2. and clarify 3 please… I take it 4. is correct?

  9. 1. More or less. cvds was more correct to call a small decline first, but yes it did move up to a certain degree.

    2. Yes, as soon as hammer 4H bar completed it looked bearish to me.

    3. Indeed I just thought about it and caught myself that despite I had a view of big TF action I didn't act according to it and was simply trade just as if I didn't look at it at all... :(

    4. Yes, countertrend entries for some reason were always not so difficult to me, but of course I'd better be able to catch large moves and ride the trend.

  10. Got the idea of what rolling timeframes to stay in a big wave is... Thanks yoohoo! Will try to apply that.
