On the contrary you can watch the big chart and almost fall asleep when a 1 Hr chart is caught in a tiny range. Playing the chop on the 1 min will do two things for you... 1. it puts pips in the bag 2. when the breakout comes you should be riding it. Remember the guys are expecting the move up - what better way to catch it than like this? Years ago I made a note to myself after being bored out of the inception of a number of big moves and it went like this... "see the narrow chop in the 1 min as a build up of energy for the B/o" It keeps me interested and in profit.
BigFunky: That's exactly what we are learning here: to be able to pull the trigger on the smallest TF while fishing for a big TF swing and of course keeping it in mind...
failure 4th touch (long) on 2:44, gave 15 pts back; fail to take the triangle that develop after that and the index had a run away.. found it hard to find the entry point at the 4th touch in some situation.. (ie, to long at the top downward entry triangle, or weak channel (b's))
