  2. Willl here's the A-B-C

    A & C are the same lenghts

often traders use Fibs for the pullback B

  3. A ha, just wanted to ask how you measure it is ABC... So using length of legs and possibly fibs?

  4. thanks YH..

you play it at B's low with a 4th touch? from my guess you don't do a BO, you do da BO before a BO :D

  5. hmm got 5 screens but ordering another 4

time, range, volume, tick but you don't need that - I just monitor a lot of different techniques and math relationships... that's not necessary for a highly developed edge... I took a long route to get to where I am and a lot of valuable things stick.

I have been careful for the most part to share things that work and that any trader can learn, and with serious application put to work successfully in a reasonable time. Sometimes I show something that's my invention but that's seldom.

What I post is a fraction of what I look at and most of the trades I see I don't mention. But if I can get you to see the big picture and catch the ATM's and trade swings and chop inside that, then I'll be happy. You will have relaxed control - always in is the safest and easiest technique and there is a structured way to get there.

Most of the stuff discussed about trading on ET doesn't even qualify as basic level trading so it tends to get quarrelsome between myopic "traders". There's a huge world of brilliant ideas and I try to watch a few of them... as well as keep a dvd playing sometime every day of a top trader... don't watch... just listen and make notes in Word now and then... then meditate on it and see it there's an idea I can "borrow" and work on.

  6. B is used for fibs (I don't, I take the trade)

and C top is often a Fib projection for further confirmation

    But A = C is simple enough

Then there are various ways of placing low of B if it's in a channel

but once you get used to it you see it - I just measured the 4hr A-B-C for you guys - it was pip perfect - but it was a visual thing and converging of PP, EMTL projection, CCI almost thru the top of the monitor and time = ATM time.

  7. Willl you play the PA at the low of B. That's what makes it the low - reading the PA. I have no idea how that will unfold... falling knife, double/triple bottom etc? Don't care... just take the trade using all the set-ups I've shown.

  8. Yoohoo,

Yea I agree with what you said and also all the time look for new information which try to "borrow" and apply to my trading... It's strange but such a simple idea as living and LEARNING seems to become rare these days...

And of course I'll be very happy to learn just ATM's which would be able to keep me in all big swings (my goal currently) and really appreciate your invaluable help!

BTW, I'm happy I added CCI, it makes a lot of additional $$ and in many cases calls tops/bottoms of those big swings, I just need to learn to hold them...

  9. Yes, today is very educative day... Will really watch hourly data as ABC waves now and low of B (assuming an up sequence) is a good long and high of C is a good short and prolly beginning of a new sequence...

    Will pay attention to it...

  10. same risk, huge payoff, and the assumption of price goes into wedge/flags/triangle would come out in the expected direction (as stated in Jack, Schwager's book on TA) gives you the edge?
