Likewise had to go out; ok will get better eg's over the weekend CF. IMPORTANT: Earlier today I mentioned a fake break where the bar breaks support but the mid is bang on the support. As life would have it it's how we reversed. Note the 3 reactions on the blue line drawn earlier. The fact it was there just helps... you should ALWAYS look for a 3 point contact as a possible reversal. Always. It means fiddling about a bit with a T/L until you see it but then it will become obvious. Like Pin Bars you'll think you see lots of them and then it gets easy to identify - the 3 pushes are more pronounced. Well done CV on the 5 min Pin Bar (remember please Pin Bar ain't my term - I didn't invent it). So we hit the PP and big K/R but you didn't need the full bar to enter. This is a classic use of mid point emotion to understand this was not a true break. The old guys looked for the close and mid below the line... wonder why? hehe. Hope you understood the TIME - look 10 mins before, then on the hr and esp 10 mins after for reversals. This was 10 mins after. Buy a clock!
grrr, went short at 87 saw the market bouncing up and down for about 20 minutes, covered at 83.5 and seconds later the market falls like a stone ...
Yoohoo, Yea multiple tests as an anticipation to BO is what I widely use. This I understand. Really a very powerful technique.... Bighog (one of ET members) taught me this several months ago and he being the man who consistently daytrades ES for many years knows his business... But I still get confused with how exactly (through what points) line of emotions is plotted as opposed to "classic" TL...
Hmm... So these lines are still drawn by highs/lows much like TL's just using not only channel formations, but other as well?
Greetings again. Disappeared for a bit to go for a rather long ride on my new baby. Anyway, glad to see this thread is very active and more important , informative. So I'll quickly add my 2 cents re what just happened. And since a picture is worth a thousand words, here it is - a beautiful pivot play: http://i32.tinypic.com/2hhdpxd.jpg Sorry, that's a 5 min EUR/USD
