wow I'm surprised they allow you on here overload, You sure made a fool out of yourself over at moneytec.
You must have me confused with someone else.... Anyway, calling a fellow trader a "fool" is not nice. You're on ignore.
The tradestation instructions on hisbase.com are for 2000i. Are the instructions exactly the same for Tradestation 7.1 or 7.2? Thanks
The data Iâm talking about is my own data...I mean the data I collected for a long period of time starting from BMI, then DBC, then ESignal and bought some from Bridge. So, the data is reliable and clean except of some exotic crosses as Eur/NZD GBP/NZD AUD/NZD etc.. ......And there is no charge -)))
Btw, here is free sources for historical intraday and daily data for TS 2000i and Metastock. Some of the data files go back as far as to 1947. -) TS 2000i: http://www.forexhistory.com/History/ProSuite/ MetaStock: http://www.forexhistory.com/History/MetaStock/ and here is daily & intraday data.... day by day: http://www.forexite.com/free_forex_quotes/forex_history_arhiv.html
When it comes making money one should consider paying for data as long as the quality is good. I made some good experience with eSignal, although the id-data goes back only one year or so. On the other hand, I think it is not necessary to go back more than let's say 15 years, everything changed so much in the last years. (so, 1947 is interesting but I wouldn't see any value for a system in this data) Cheers
