Hi -- As a relatively new trader seeking to fill the empty space between his ears, I've stumbled trying to decipher the nuances of order flow. Watching the numbers dance around on the ES...the ask showing 837, the bid 62 -- bullish or bearish? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Really, no apparent pattern -- although, clearly, there is meaning, as folks do pay attention. So, apologizing in advance if this is something that has been discussed on ET (I have done a search, by the way, and have not come across such a discussion -- too elementary, perhaps?) would anyone out there care to enlighten the ignoramuses among us (including myself...) What is order flow? How can one go about interpreting it? Thanks...
