that is not true at all. My father works for the NASD. You need to be 18 to make a transaction in any U.S equity market
Look you are obviously a stupid kid. Not only is your knowledge of popular movies atrocious (spelt incorrectly btw), your comments are juvenile and pre-adolescent at best. Best of luck getting yourself an internship and god have mercy on whoever you fool to give you a shot.
right maybe you should try custodian account under NYS rule go to MB trading and see custodian accounts maybe then you will actually learn something , after that go to invetopidia.com and learn the basics of the market.
to the best of my knowledge, you need to be 18. However, I guess its possible that I am wrong but I have always been taught that you need to be 18 to trade. Especially if you are trading someone elses money (i.e at a firm like Knight). Obviously there are easy ways around it such as trading for an account opened in your parent's name (guilty)
just because it is in your name doesn't mean you can trade it; all it means is that you are entitled to the money held in the account and the profits from the account.
yeah it is my money and i can trade it wow are u going to bust my balls about it whole day or are you going to admit that you are wrong..........................no harm done ........we can call it truce and thats done...........................i own the account and the money go to me the only difference is that my dad can put the money in my account not me and take it out but the check HAS TO GO TO MY ACCOUNT ONLY................trust me i did this since i was 15...it is pain in the butt
You ask for a job, people try to offer you constructive advice, yet you swear at them and in general, act like a complete prick. That attitude won't take you very far in life....
dude - I already said I could be wrong but I still believe that you need to be 18 to invest - do any other ETers know?
