The narrative is a "krok" in my humble opinion. At the supposed level of security he describes, do you really think the "authorities" would just leave a copy machine out in the hall? Don't you think it would be in a secure area, and every blank page in it serialized and accounted for? No one just walks out with papers...every copy would have a record or who copied it, who witnessed it... etc. IMHO.
