Interesting Prop arrangement

  1. ForeverNewbie..I will say it...sounds good...Does their better traders get a better slice than 50%? Excuse me for being such a pig, but I want more.

Do any of the traders lose money for the firm there?

What is the prop shops name? Can you trade remote?

Why is it so hard to believe that you could hire someone with no capital contribution and they would act responsibly? Only the prop world thinks this is not possible.

  3. I agree. It sounds good to me too. It may not suit scalpers' needs, but for those who prefer to swing trade, it's pretty appealing. I'd like to know more info about this firm and the setup also. PM me if you wish.

I might know of a deal where the trader gets to keep 95% payout and puts no capital up. Furthermore, the trader takes no responsibility for the losses. Commission charges are just .002c per share. They provide all the necessary tools like Bloomberg, pay your other trading related expenses (such as any cellphone bills you might have-i've even heard of a few personal calls getting covered, etc.), and even provide you training in strategies that have been proven effective in producing very significant results. Trading capital to start is typically $1 Million but can start as high as $25 Million if you are really good. Overnights are permitted with significant intra-day buying power as an odd-on. Also, they may allow remote trading, although they have not done that as of yet. I think you might be able to negotiate a higher payout and possibly a better commission rate for remote since you wouldn't be using their Park Ave. office space and computers, etc. Would you like me to see if they'll offer you 99% payout with .001c commish with no capital up and no risk?

  6. oh my gawd....I have not traded equities in years. I posted to help the thread starter. This deal is the ULTIMATE DEAL NTB

Would this firm entertain Retail Spot Forex?...I am dabbling in Futures yet again, but not ready yet. I am a former CTA still licensed with the CFTC...But I dropped my membership with the NFA as I no longer trade other peoples money. I have passed the series three, but not the 7...To be honest with you to work on Park Ave would be a dream of this 47 year old...I might even consider moving to New York from my condo that I own in Denver, Co....( I would be leaving a 65k plus a year job and then there is Wifey)

Look...I need to be careful here...I am a moderator and this is borderline recruiting and begging...:) I do not see anything wrong with posting prop shop links here...but maybe I am wrong. I believe the senior moderator Magna will be PMing me and this was not my intention.

P.S. Forevernewbie, no matter what you decide, Good Trading to You. It's all in the deal you cut that determines your future success, assuming you already know how to trade..or....know the right people :) I love America, sometimes (born in Burbank, CA. :), I have also lived in Stockholm, Sweden for 5 years and it aint' all that bad there either!).

Shit, I have to get in on this. I know of a deal right here in Chicago. Trader puts up no capital. Rates are .03, payout 98%. Unlimited intra-day buying power and significant overnight leverage. Other perks include call girl fridays and free happy hour specials. What da y'all say?

Mav, this Firm that I am aware of prides itself on having the best deal available. If what you say is true, I will have to ask them if they can match your deal in Chicago plus free passes to Scores on the weekends (full-service escorts included). As you know, this is a competitive business.

**Edit: I just spoke to them, looks like 100% payout might be doable in the near future with no-fee trading (that's right, means no commissions). Hard to believe, nice firm too, well capitalized.

  10. If there is a futures prop that offers anything close to that deal (90% payout, no personal risk) that gives you a measly 100K bp, please let me know. :)
