Interesting observation

  1. So, again we get weaker than expected Retail in Dec. Unemployment Rises to the suprise side. Humm? The numbers seem to be a bit confusing but the word on the street is "Modest" job gains, even with the Surprise.
     
  2. My Bad: The snow storm that shut NY and the East coast for 2 days is the cause of the weaker Dec Sales. I should have known:mad: I could have I missed such , cough cough, reasoning.

    2) The retail number can be "adjusted" to what sales would have been if not for the storm. :cool:

    You'r correct, the number can be adjusted upward. :eek: Remember Auther Anderson's numbers. .....the entire firm imploded due to their math.


    On another note Paulson leaves the post. Humm, could he forsee a inflation problem heading our way that will make 1970s look like child's play? Or was he leaving, because he is tired.

    Rice is higher as we speak.
