Elon is one smart cookie ..... oh how the cookie crumbles. (BLOOMBERG) On the move Tesla shares fall 4.2% in premarket trading. If the losses hold in regular hours, the stock will fall below the level it was trading at in mid-March when Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick proclaimed that it will “never be this cheap again” and Elon Musk encouraged employees to “hang on to your stock.”
Honestly, I think it does in fact go lower from here. I'll make it a point to call the bottom when the game starts up again. "The higher it goes, the higher it goes." ---> That game.
Tesla Sales Numbers 'Suck,' Says Ross Gerber. He Claims The Tesla Brand Is Broken Because Of The Board That Should Be Removed For Negligence https://finance.yahoo.com/news/tesla-sales-numbers-suck-says-134542626.html
Brand is broken is getting a little carried away with it. Unless ... Musk continues at the top and continues his nutty rhetoric. Maybe then it is toast.
DOGE-Musk has just axed all the people regulating Tesla's adherence to safety rules. Surely this will end well. Car safety experts at NHTSA, which regulates Tesla, axed by DOGE Tesla has a lot riding on the swift success of its so-called Full Self-Driving software. https://arstechnica.com/cars/2025/04/car-safety-experts-at-nhtsa-which-regulates-tesla-axed-by-doge/
Although I agree that this is a horrible thing, I think the power of social media now will absolutely destroy FSD once it, or if it, ever begins driving around paying customers. Everyone will be recording their rides on their phones, and dashcams in other cars will record the Tesla's every move. It might even get to the point where one minor mishap will be blown out of proportion simply from all the media attention. Its been years and years that the officials haven't done anything anyway, supposedly working on cases, and a few getting settled out of court. So the regulation way was clearly not working, and hence I can't wait for the public to roast FSD.
