I wanted to start a thread about Padu, bit of a Legend around here. So, I went over about about 20 of his posts. Holy shit! I saw two things: 1. He believes in Momentum, but not much else. - great start, go Momentum. Took him 25 years to realise that??? 2. He didn't seem to understand Risk Management - no wonder he kept blowing accounts Can anyone else contribute where he went wrong and right.
Padu? He went wrong by Skyping with me, telling me he would not do the things he was doing, and then continued to do the things he did, which was trying to tell other people what to do, when he was not doing it so well himself.
I'm guessing he also went wrong picking his wardrobe too, but I was referring to what he did wrong and right as a Trader. We can learn from him
Yes we can my friend. The whole idea of buying at Support or selling at Resistance, buying Breakouts etc etc is to hopefully find MOMENTUM, where it begins and ends. Unless scalping, that's pretty much the ballgame, with good Risk Management of course?
I'm with you, Darc. Padu is a character and a half. He's prolly making bank with a funded account where they forbid him from posting on social media, lol.
Padu is a Legend for us newcomers to ET. I just thought/think we can learn from him (his mistakes). The Man's legacy could live on.
Padman would post charts like aus or eur 5m as he was trading them. For a while he was into using the 20ma and he made some fine entries. As far as his way of talking, if murrayTurtle were to post up in the way Padman would, it'd be pretty scary, but coming from the Padmeister, ya don't bat an eyelash, lol. Padman, what's shakin' OG?
%% WELL for sure the following error; ''dont buy any books''LOL-Padu quote Not all books are able to be borrowed from library. Edit; on a more positive note leaern how to use a 200 day moving average + borrow and buy plenty of books. Book of Proverbs is good also.........
