Interested in learning how to trade using technical analysis? Here's some 'how Stevo looks at it using TA' cued .... https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/index-futures-once-around-the-horn.339822/page-3#post-5327657
I learned technical analysis by watching some videos too and turned out fine for me. Got better at predicting the time for entry and exit.
Thread starter joined ET and asked just one question about Technical Analysis... He or she has not posted again after so many replies...either greatly satisfied with the answers or highly discourage. wrbtrader
I’m glad you shared this here. It really simplified stuff for me and I’ve been trying to get my head around it for a very long time. Do share more if you can, thanks.
That’s great if it worked for you. How important technical analysis really is? I mean everywhere I look there is a talk of it.
Quite important I would say. You get to learn trend analysis, chart patterns, candlesticks and various other things that are important for trading. See if you want to be able to make any profits from it, you’ll have to follow the required path of learning. It is better to only begin with it if you have the knowledge for it otherwise you’re just wasting your time. Like I’ve been trading and learning for so many years now on some trustable platforms like Fxpro, Fxview or even Oanda. Can’t really escape the fundamental and technical analysis in forex.
Forex technical analysis is the process of assessing the market conditions and choosing whether to buy or sell a specific currency pair. Technical analysis is based on the study of historical price action in order to identify price patterns and predict the future movements in the forex market through the use of technical indicators and historic price patterns.
