  1. So, it is a different "flower" this time...does not prove anything. It is heading down under $30,000...

I am curious if it will be cfd's or wallets and private keys available like many other crypto exchanges.

  8. c'mon, bro. BTC is not shit. It's literally the best performing asset of all time. Tulips went up, then down (and that was your comparison, btw). BTC went up, then down, then up higher, then down to a higher low, then etc. at least 5 major cycles. It's just not a Tulip mania. It's something different and we're still seeing what that is and what it means.
Personally, I think it's saying that people want money that is not created by a government, subject to seignorage, inflation, confiscation, etc. With Bitcoin, we know the inflation and disinflation rate precisely for the next 30 years. We know the US government can't issue it to oblivion or use it to fund warfare / welfare state.

People want that. It does have value. Sure, other coins are more efficient, but BTC has legacy value as an agreed upon standard. The inventors did a good job at what they set out to do.

  9. Today the 10-year just went down, but that is just a side note. Let me repeat never will the US allow bitcoin to be a reserve currency! Not fucking EVER! Now does this mean it will go away? No. But if the US tells coinbase tomorrow to stop taking/giving Fiat dollars, guess what would happen?

  10. I think in principle you're correct - the US will do whatever it can to prevent BTC becoming a reserve currency. However - reserve currencies are a global construct, not a single nation construct. For now, the US has the reserve currency, but, as Dalio and his team have shown with deep research, the US is in serious decline. The USD as global reserve currency is nearing the end. Probably another 5-10 years. It may be outside of US power to prevent BTC (or another currency or combination) becoming the new reserve currency.

Power is shifting. Be prepared for that reality. Just my opinion, but based on a lot research.
