today all day..charts are missing bars. then filled up by itself later. still having that account resize window problem. and my very favored-jumping row. when you have multiple orders on page and sometimes when you click on it to modify the price-whole entire row jumps either up or down, changing it's position by itself awesome!
That is a common problem after new updates. Have you tried the previous version? I had your problem a few weeks ago and have been using the previous version ever since, basically without any problems.
well.. i'm on 929 and as you can see - i'm having exact same problems how far do you think we have to go? my guess is that some genius messed up something on IB's side (as usual). but as we all know -they would never admit that..
My realtime 1min and 15sec charts are messed up again. The last price is updating on the chart, but the chart bars are not updating. It is strange because sometimes it works, but then at some point they get broken and stop updating. I tried changing the time period, etc., but it doesn't fix it once it's broken. Build 932.4, Nov 1, 2012 9:23:22 AM Jolt Build 1.2.1, Jun 7, 2012 05:22:01 PM Nia Build 1.11.1, Jun 7, 2012 05:23:19 PM ModelNav Build 1.1.44, Jun 5, 2012 07:47:57 PM Java Version: 1.6.0_32 OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 (amd64, 6.1) [Update] I restarted TWS, and some of my charts are working ,e.g. some fixed charts of AAPL are updating realtime, but the charts I have for NQ and ES are still messed up. This looks like a software problem, because the data is updating in the quote panel correctly. Or else, maybe the server is feeding in bogus history data when the chart first populates? This is a nasty problem; I hope IB dev is looking into this. Thanks,
> Or else, maybe the server is feeding in bogus history data when the chart first populates? I think maybe this is the problem. When I load a NQ DEC12 1min chart, it is showing data from 20:10 to 21:50, but my AAPL 1min chart is showing data from 13:00 to 14:00. It looks like the IB server feeding the client past history to populate the chart is sending wrong data for some contracts.
All of these contracts are showing wrong data when I try to display 1min data for them. CL NYMEX Jan'13 FUT CL NYMEX DEC'12 FUT EUR GLOBEX Dec'12 FUT ES GLOBEX DEC'12 FUT YM ECBOT DEC'12 FUT NQ GLOBEX DEC'12 FUT For example CL Jan'13 chart is showing 18:10 to 19:50; If I load AAPL into that same chart, it is showing 12:20 to 13:50. Earlier in the day, the charts were showing up correctly. So that makes me thing that IB's history server is feeding bad data to the TWS client. Caption: You can see CL Jan'13 current price 85.64 on left margin, but the 1min data displayed is WRONG. Caption: AAPL 1min realtime chart is CORRECT
That is strange. fwiw, I'm on 932.5a and have not had that problem so far. And I run about 20 charts, ranging from 1min to daily. Build 932.5a, Nov 6, 2012 6:12:03 PM Jolt Build 1.2.1, Jun 7, 2012 05:22:01 PM Nia Build 1.11.1, Jun 7, 2012 05:23:19 PM ModelNav Build 1.1.44, Jun 5, 2012 07:47:57 PM Java Version: 1.7.0_09 OS: Windows XP (x86, 5.1)
I noticed your build 932.5a is slightly newer than mine 932.4. Not sure that matters, or not. If appears to be a data feed problem. Soon after I posted, the 1min history loaded correctly on NQ, ES, and CL futures for me. Now, only the YM ECBOT DEC'12 FUT contract is showing old data. If it is a data feed problem, I think there are multiple IB data servers, so the server your TWS is connected to might be giving good data, but my data server is not. Thanks
TWS Build 932.4 I don't think this is a bug, but it doesn't make sense to me, so please help. I have a problem to execute StopOrder of IDEALPRO. According to the IB TWS FAQs http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/p.php?f=tws&p=faqs-default >Why didn't my stop get triggered in pre/post market hours? >>You need to set the timing to "Allow order to be activated, triggered or filled outside of regular trading hours." You can define this setting from the Timing section of the Order Preset, or on a per-order basis from the order line using the Time in Force dropdown selector. If the selection is not available for the specific order you are submitting, you will not be allowed to populate the checkbox. ---------------- Well, I know the tip because I used to tweak TWS a lot before, and always done that without problems. However, after a long time, now I am trying to turn on "Allow order to be activated, triggered or filled outside of regular trading hours." for IDEALPRO, **the selection is not available for the specific order you are submitting, you will not be allowed to populate the checkbox**.(attached pic) I tried, but never be able to find a way to turn on stop order for IDEALPRO in "non-regular trading hours". Obviously, FX market doesn't have "regular trading hours", and we need to trade including using stopOrders anytime. I have no idea what is going on. This thing never happened before. Please advise. Thanks.
