Does Interactive Brokers varify Financial Information on their application form?

How accurate and specific does the information have to be, or is it just for information purposes and they don't actually do any formal verification?

What are Interactive Brokers minimum financial requirements for canadian investors?

Of course not. It is a "covering my ass" type of lawyerspeak, just in case you go bankrupt by trading and get an idea of suing them for providing a platform for doing it..

They can always protect themselves that you lied (if you did) on the application....

I would bet that they've gotten more rigorous about it in recent months :)

you lie, especially on options, you will have no chance of recovery should it ever be necessary.
