Interactive Brokers for day-trading Futures?

I'm starting to believe I am the only one who has different brokers for different trade types, AMP is a secondary broker not primary. I am also starting to believe I am the only one who doesn't really care about relatively minor differences in commissions, routing speed, and so on. Which makes me think retail actually believe they can compete with firms hosting Supermicros at Equinix with direct connects, yes we know everything.

And the agent managed to get their act together so I'm contemplating this with some bruschetta, a glass of vino bianco, listening to some light Italian pop music with the birds singing their song in Chianti. Yes I know no one cares, buy why make it so complex.

That's possible, but the same can be said from AMP and all the others. It is called "marketing".

That's not strictly correct, marketing has to be open and fair rather than "behind the scenes" comments, and given their size that means they 'could', offset anyone else by 100:1 or even 1,000:1 thereby hiding any material information by "drowning". Now, I have no direct issues with IB, however an all-in-one approach leads to large risk, such as Tradestation taking 2months to release my funds.

Basically what you are saying is that, unless there is something visible and directly in front of you that you can see and touch, absolutely nothing written is trustworthy. I am coming to that conclusion also.

IB does have reps on ET... but I have never seen any over the top "drowning".

Are we wearing Illuminati-hats on ET? Do you really think large brokerages need to do this? Small off-shore ones... maybe, since they are usually pretty dodgy and I regularly see people post whether "they" are any good.

100:1... or 1000:1... LMAO. You're living in the twilight zone mate....

Still trying to get me to re-engage I see, too funny, $10k (logs posted) with 4hrs work is $2,500/hr, the average income is $25/hr, 100:1.

Okay... you point out who you think is a secret IB rep....

I'm not actively trying to re-engage with you... I'm just responding to comments that are silly.

Of course, the proof of returns are "silly" to those who have no capacity to make them, not that anyone would notice but there's a reason why the high post count "veterans" are the ones who re-engage when something is all but closed, it's not for a public service. Factual information, proof, annoying little tidbits that get in the way of the narrative "how to make money the most inefficient way possible", even the hedge funds need QE to make a return, a self-fulfilling prophecy of who is stupid enough to make the least with the most effort. Today 1:1 is classed as being efficient, which means I have more time than I did last year, you know, everything is moving to 4hr charts and beyond, like sitting at the Lake having coffee while you all work for marginal gains.

Poor baby, perhaps Mom should go and change your diaper, you actually think I care about the details of who's doing what and when to generate a marginal gain. I know what I know which is enough to know how to take advantage of what you don't know thereby your needing to ask what it is that I know to find a margin of error so that you can pretend to know what you don't know.

wow... why don't you tell us more about what you pretend to think to know? Because so far you've only been ranting about shit.

Didums, didn't have a good enough education to be able to write full sentences without swearing publicly, explains the efficiency problem you have. You even mis-read the last sentence, 3,000 posts and you're not using layered brokers, tut tut.

IB is an eggs in one basket, all well and good until you trip up, and it might not be you causing the tripping up, but you know, why go back to the actual question when instead "veterans" can obscure the fact they don't have the capacity to follow even the most basic rules of trading.

You think shit is a swear word? :) Cute...

I don't need layered brokers... whatever that means. I have other account, but those are not used for active trading, so I'm definitely not all eggs in one basket.

Anyway, tell us more about your crypto trading. Obviously that's not done via IB.
