After installing a new version of excel I'm having a problem with the links updating automatically. There's always a pause and then all of the cells on the page update rather than dynamically like it used to. The same thing happens when I use the TOS RTD calls so I know its not The TWS API. I'm sure its something simple that has to be tweaked in Excel but any help would be greatly appreciated!
Sounds like a recalc switch is not set to automatic. I work OpenOffice, but the set-up is very similar. "Options"?? "Settings"?? "Page Defaults"?? Google is your friend.
Just a guess but sometimes it has to do with the newer version of excel treating macros differently. Perhaps you should check if there are new options related to macros compared to the previous version and if you have to check something to make it work like the previous one. I had something similar once but it was a long time ago and I don't remember how I got rid of it...
