No real issues here either. Chicago farm. There was some glitch at market hours yesterday with about 3-4 minutes downtime but that's nothing.

  3. It’s up. Must be a local issue. I can’t see IB — a large public company — not sending out some form of notification if they had a system-wide outage.

I suggest you learn about farms. Then you won't post nonsensical suggestions.

OP's user name tells you all you need to know. Probably a vengeful R-Hood bagholder.

It reminds me of stories told by police detectives. Some of the stupid mistakes that criminals make are hard to believe.

Could be routing issues, with failures anywhere between you and a server.

There was an issue in the early-morning hours; it was cleared up before 4am eastern.

Newb needs to pull up the panties, and realize that even a rock-solid platform like TWS will have hiccups, and it's the trader's responsibility to plan for that. If the newb thinks IB is not satisfactory, then there are *surely* others available.

((But for sure, it ain't a good thing to have your smoother-than-silk, slicker-than-snot trading system *ever* go down, for whatever reason -- and IB should get on this (twice in 48 hours??) mui pronto.))

  10. "local" =/= "data farm". Data farms were fine this morning, and OP's issue could not have been related to a data farm (reread their original message).
