Is there any # to get directly to the IB trading desk? I had to get out of a position today as my internet went out and their customer service line took exactly 13 minutes to pick up.

Why not get a back up wireless 3G USB internet connection? If you cant afford that then have a free or cheap dial up handy, most PC and laptops still come with built in modems..
it's actually option #2 in US toll free number. sometimes they pick up the line very quickly. if European office still open-i would rather call over there. Much faster and people kind of more friendly.
