intenet provider for home trading

  1. for the time being i am going to just use the Road runner preimum package 12 mbps,

    fios is taking fovever to get to my building

  6. Yea but my two car garage is bigger than your whole house, provided you own one and not some small dingy apartment that needed a 40 year mortgage to pay it off. I will not even mention the backyard, or the front yard.... garage will do.:D :D :D

    40 yr mortgage? that' just enough for 2nd mortgage. Try a 3 generation mortgage.

    but on the other side, a lowly secretary makes US$80k a yr.

    I'm not sure that I understand the difference between a dedicated line and extranet. In both cases, do you need to pay for your own T1 line? Are both options simply a more direct connection to IB's servers than the public internet?

  10. I think T-1 is overrated. I had that where I used to work...my cable line at home is more reliable and faster for $50 a month. T-1 is like 8X that.
