If you let your bigotry take a break you might realize the Buddhist denomination for instance does not accept there is intelligent design. So your denomination "theory" falls at the first fence. For the sake of an incorrect assertion based upon your own personal "chance" prejudice, you would be teaching children dogma founded upon simple falsehoods like that. ID/Creationism doesn't stand , so you want to to piggy back science class in order to steal some of sciense's credibility for your own misplaced misinformations. And to think you would be prepared to deprive children of understanding to re- place with incorrect information, only to defend an irrational assertion .
Show me anything in genuine Buddhism that teaches the universe is a product of ignorant chance. If you had any real understanding of the basic foundation of Buddhism, the laws of cause and effect (Karma) then you would know that nothing in their belief talks of "accident and chance" it is all consequence of past. Their belief of liberation from the system of birth/death/birth/death has to do with perfection of the individual apart from the Grace or help of God, that liberation will come from their own efforts. None of this has anything to do with creation itself. They goal is to leave the universe permanently, not focus on why the universe is here. There is no need to know or understand beginning of the universe for them to have a plan to leave the cycle of birth/death/birth/death. They simply would say that any talk of ignorant chance is ignorance.... Giving children a choice is education. Dogmatically pushing any particular belief, like Darwinism alone, or ID alone, is indoctrination.
Ask a Buddhist if the universe is here because of ignorant chance. Ignorant chance is not my dogma, it is the opposite of ID. Common sense will lead anyone to that realization...
Flawed argument that you continue to promote. Take a pen, write the number 1 on a dollar bill. Does it have more purchasing power now? ROTFLMAO... So God writes a number 1 on his hand, adds the number 1...is he more powerful than he was before he wrote the number 1 on his hand? You crack me up stu, you really do...
I don't think you're able to read Buddhist scripts. But here are a couple of popular articles on Buddhism and chaos theory: http://www.geocities.com/logosbaphomet/gojesus.html "Gnostic Jesus and The Chaotic Buddhist" http://goliath.ecnext.com/coms2/gi_0199-3684511/Buddhism-chaos-theory-share-spiritual.html "Buddhism, chaos theory share spiritual parallels." I know it's hard to get out of an eurocentric view but at least you should try.
