I know Core 2 Duo supports 64 bits application. Since most of the applications are not 64 bits, does it make any difference between these 2 assuming the same clock rate? I want to retire my current laptop and get a new one for trading purpose. I will use excel with DDE. T2250 (1.73GHz) is faster than T5200 (1.6GHz) but cheaper.
