My brother tried to convince me to go, but seeing as how I'm not a supporter of Obama I passed. But looks like I missed quite a spectacle, I have to give the man credit.....I haven't seen an individual inspire so many in such a short amount of time. I remember the demoncrats being contained mostly to Boulder but looks like Obama's brought them out in droves all over the state....it'll be interesting to see how CO votes on the 4th....
Seriously, I don't really think Obama is that special. The truth is George Bush, Palin being one beat away from being the President and the economy basically seal the deal. Rolling back Bush's tax cut is going to hurt me but I have to vote for Obama anyway. BTW : Nice pictures..
History will show McCain lost because of Palin http://elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=142118 If he had picked a better qualified running mate, McCain would have won. The deep seated racism in the US against blacks is enough of a motivation for voters to vote for McCain. Instead , the walking cadaver had to pick a half-witted po-dunk mayor. The biggest drawback for McCain is voters WILL NEVER vote in a female president or vice president. They will rather have a black man than a white female as president.
While Obama ran one hell of a campaign,i think he could have did much better if he would have emphasized that he is half white and was raised white
I disagree, Hillary came very close, Obama just ran a better campaign. Had Hillary won the primary she would be ahead now as well. What Obama proved in the west (CO, WA) was white's will vote for a "black" candidate. The next smart woman to run will have an excellent chance.
