The mayor just fired the city manager for- earlier today- saying the officer was entitled to due process. Looks like the city manager is going to be getting a big pay day from the city at some point along with the shooting victim's family which will be bigger of course. Sheesh. The mayor gutted the city manager right there in order to score political points. Problem iis, the city managers response was 100% correct, 100% professional, and 100% legally and union agreement mandated. If the mayor has a bitch with the shooting, a bitch with whitey and white power then some of this is understandable but gutting his black brother city manager is not the way to do it. It also gonna come with a price tag for the city, possibly even reinstatement. If he was fired for not handling it properly within their due process supporting procedures then that would be new and different but that is not how it is being reported. It is being reported on a couple networks that it was for his statement that the officer would be entitled to due process. A city manager never goes wrong by saying any employee is entitled to due process, while the lawyers guide what that must look like. The fucking officer shoots an unarmed guy point blank due to fuck up and you are trying to quell a potential riot by lynching the black city manager as an offering to the crowd. AHHH, NO. THAT DOG DON'T HUNT. I reserve the right to change my view if the facts reported change.
Luck? Naaaa. When you read enough company annual reports... https://www.biometricupdate.com/202...easing-in-minnesota-and-questioned-in-seattle
Exactly. As of right now, they wear their gun on their dominant side and their taser on their non-dominant. As a stop gap measure as of tomorrow morning, before we take guns away from police entirely, all police tasers should be worn on their dominant side with the batteries removed. I'm serious. I'm not joking. The police have demonstrated, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the overall quality of police officer judgement is too low for them to be trusted with guns, or tasers. We need to start over. And the first step must be to fund police out of the general budget and make their funding completely independent of fines and arrests. The next step is to double their pay, hire half as many officers, and require that they all have a four year, liberal arts, college education. Then, and only then, should they be allowed anywhere near a gun or a taser.
That is why you need those police body cameras. Bad guys tend to behave better when they know they are being filmed and police have an actual live video of what happened as opposed to what the bad guys claimed happened. Have there been rogue police officers? That is for sure. However, those police officers have been charged and sentenced for their crimes. The problem with the black community, is they assume that all police shooting of blacks is unjustified when, majority of it is. Take the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, Missiouri. They continue to lie about Darren Wilson, the police officer who was assaulted by Michael Brown and has injuries to the head and shoulder. Michael Brown was a huge black man and not the thin young man in pictures put out by extreme liberal media. So, this big black guy is banging the policeman's head in the pavement and is in top of him. That is why he had to shoot him. Now, Obama sent in Eric Holder with a goal of charging Darren Wilson but, they could not find anything that he was guilty off. He was eventually, cleared. Darren Wilson resigned from the police force, left his home with his family due to numerous threats on his life and that of his family.
