Insurance companies, airlines, automakers, oh my...

  1. I think quite a few of these companies will not survive in 2009.

    They either have to undergo extensive consolidation or simply close their doors. Consumers are not going to insure their vehicles if they have no money left. They are not going to insure a used vehicle. They will not buy vehicles. They will not go on trips.

    Stocks do not trade down this low without some of them simply going to zero and closing the doors. GM or Ford cant keep this pace up. Chrysler may be the only survivor quite ironically.
