Institutional investors rank trust with returns: Report
The trust level among institutional investors toward their money managers is as important as achieving high returns, a report from CFA Institute says. In the report, "The Next Generation of Trust: A Global Survey on the State of Industry Trust," 24 percent of institutional investors surveyed by Greenwich Associates said the most important attribute in hiring a money manager was the ability to achieve high returns. This is how Bernie Madoff is able to rack up $70 Billion in fraud because they all TRUSTED him LOL whereas they all tried to sue this hedge fund manager in the movie The Big Short even though he was earning his investors 482% return! This is WHY I don't EVER want to manage other people's money.

Trust but Verify.............dozens of cases have come out where glossy brochures and country club lunch gatherings resulted in "major con job" done on investors.
