Hmmmm. This has got to be a source of curiosity, given the already 52% run in the S&P. IMO http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aAv..4PAavSw
I'm sorry, but you must be NEW at this. The Investor's Intelligence sentiment numbers are from newsletter writers. It is not necessarily a very accurate survey of RETAIL as you have posted in your headline. A better survey of RETAIL stock market sentiment is presented by AAII. http://www.aaii.com/
Thanks. I didn't know 'Investors Intelligence' strictly surveyed advisors/managers versus retail. I would change the thread title if I could.
No problem. Last time I saw the AAII numbers (last week), they were surprisingly still lacking the kind of bullish sentiment that you would expect after the kind of move that we have experienced. But the Investor's Intelligence survey is still pretty good. And anything over 50% Bulls is definitely significant. Thanks for the post.
Thanks, Ivan. If you could just strike out 'Retail' and replace it with 'Newsletter' I think that would work. Edit - You're too fast for me. I meant to write 'Newsletter,' rather than 'Institutional.' Thanks again.
