Insider Trading (gambling) ? French trader bet over $28 million on Trump election

This is the really gutsy bet.

 

not if he doesn’t have a financial motive.

 

or serve as a hedge for another position

 

I'm wondering what hedge he has against 28 million dollar bet.

Has to be worth 50 to 100 million

 

if the trader shorted many stocks, like DJT, he may need such bet as a hedge

 

I would short djt but borrowing feees are insane.

 

short 75 calls and short 25 puts, from what i read somewhere

 

Then to bet on Harris win looks a cheap alternative

 

More likely he’s a front.

 

the odds look quite close now, not an easy one to tell.
