I continue to forget about that @username feature as an alternative way to alert Baron or any other member about anything. Other members seem to favor that forum feature. Edit: WTF ? Just discovered ET has a member with the name "username". Hmmm...what about @trump ??? Wow...there's a username Trump too. Can anybody think of a vulgar username not being used ? wrbtrader
I think @Cuddles and @FortuneTeller might be the same person. @Overnight I'd like you to look into this. I'm not going to get any sleep now!
Except it doesn't seem to be working at the moment, at least for me and other folks. I started a thread about it here. If it works, you should get an alert with this post, @wrbtrader , but not just in the form of a "so and so has responded to a post of yours" if you have notifications for that turned on, but also a "someone mentioned you in a post" alert. <---- That is the bit the @ is supposed to alert on. Did you get a double alert wrb? One about me replying to your post, and one that you were specifically mentioned?
Overnight, I only received the alert that you quoted me but there is no alert I was "mentioned in a post". Yet, I was already aware when an ET troll and a racist complained that I didn't respond to his commentary about indigenous people when he aimed an attack at me with the @wrbtrader Edit...remainder comments pm'd to you. wrbtrader
If you wondered why QueenKarma disliked you so quickly its because he and old Mono are one and the same. lolz
@Hotrocks = @Innervoice? @Hotrocks probably has a traumatic childhood experience. That might be why he is filled with anger/hatred/revenge every day. But he probably feels he is a saint. You can't earn money from trading when you are filled with tons and tons of negative emotions.
The same is true of those who give "likes" to the message posts of @Hotrocks and @Innervoice because they share the same racist, misogynist, anti-minorities, anti-immigration, anger/hatred policies of revenge and oppression. Also, I see the so-called Christian members of Elitetrader.com also giving "likes" to their message posts...revealing to us their interpretation of being a Christian. The only good of this is that it identifies them all while a few of them like @Hotrocks / @Innervoice get banned. The rest of them either run back into the gutter to safety but a few of them fall deeper into that pool of hatred...never posting in the threads again of those like @Hotrocks / @Innervoice as if we wouldn't notice them to then repeat what their doing when the next Innervoice/Hotrocks show up again with a new username. wrbtrader
