ING offering 2 year CD @ 4%

  4. You can join an association through the CU and that will let you be a member.

    Presidential Bank has a 3.50% sanvings account. I do my internet banking there. They pay 3.25% on checking also.

  5. Here's a suggestion, why not put in an energy trust that pays over 10% Annual Div?

    Your data is old. They have jacked up the rates to 3.75% and 3.5%

    You guys are getting way too excited over 4% returns. When you take taxes and inflation into account you are losing money.

    The stock market will give you 9% over the long term and since this IS EliteTrader.com I suggest that people that know what they're doing can easily make 18% swing trading, no stress.

    Even more if you are swing trading Canadian Income Trusts, some of which will give you distributions in the 17% range. (Like someone suggested)

  9. 3.5% on a checking acct FDIC insured is good money. thanks to the guys that posted the rates & links. i think centennial bank is around 4% for 1-year CD.

  10. How strange to see North Fork Bank mentioned here at Elite as I am a long time shareholder as well as friends with John Kanas, its President and CEO...A real maverick and straight shooter.
