I can see it now. is she also a vegan who looks good in yoga pants? a former granola chick? Did you have long hair in a braid and meet her in a coffee shop while wearing a shirt with a star on it? not that there is anything wrong with that. as a former surfer I had many friends who were sort of like that. If I smoked pot with them I might have hung out in coffee shops too. This was their low budget life style... surf most of the day .. get stoned... find some cheap food... go to coffee shop and hope to see jewel playing or someone else on the rise. (rare but ther was some talent back then.. not sure about now.) I suspect inflation has wrecked havoc on that lifestyle and I understand its difficult for white guys to supplement that lifestyle with govt handouts. More than one white guy has told me they have been refused. I wonder if lois lerner has something to do with that too. By the way surfing is not even cheap anymore. Boards are a mini fortune now.
You're right, we'll never have a perfect world. Which is why no one in this world, with any influence on economic policy, wants to skate that close to deflation.
Except that it's not close to deflation. Even so, deflation wouldn't be so scary if debt wasn't so out of control.
Source The Source link provides some explanation for the divergence. The BPP - for current measures. Maybe the govt needs to tinker with the measurement but it's still more accurate than the republican mind.
Tinkering with the measurement is what got the government in this position in the first place. Republican or democrat - both are guilty. Put down the talking points email for a second and use that grey matter you supposedly have between your tone deaf ears. But thank you for showing me the graph where Ricter's precious BPP is diverging from the CPI. That's quite interesting.
..which explains, The GOPâs Grifter Problem -- Why the Republican Party attracts provocateurs, faux martyrs, and grifters in droves.
