You must live in a bizarro world or something where "crying" to you is poking fun at someone. I dunno where that comes from - but if it makes you feel better, call it what you want. Yes. And as long as wages do not increase, any increase at all causes more pain to people. It would seem you're having a hard time with this, so let's do some simple math. If little Johnny makes $1200 a month parking cars as a valet at the local golf club, and he is used to spending $600 on rent, $300 on food and $150 on bills, even if total expenses go up the next month by a mere 5$, it is still less money he has in his pocket. Thus, small increases in inflation cause more pain when wages don't follow.

McDonald's Can Be Liable For Issues At Franchise-Owned Restaurants, NLRB Rules NEW YORK (AP) â McDonald's is coming under intensifying pressure for labor practices at its U.S. restaurants. The National Labor Relations Board said Tuesday that the world's biggest hamburger chain could be named as a joint employer in several complaints regarding worker rights at franchise-owned restaurants. The decision is pivotal because it could expose McDonald's Corp. to liability for management practices in those locations. more . . .
No, the problem is inflation. It's just that when wages don't rise, it makes it even worse. If your solution was to simply get wages to rise because prices were rising (which would be better) then those without wages or on fixed income would still be feeling more pain. Eliminate prices from rising and that gets better for all.
Nothing to do with alcohol, the wife is a teetotaler. But Lukie's insurance no doubt rose. DUIs will do that.
In a perfect world, yes. But that will never happen, so I will settle for almost no inflation with rising wages. And before you think "I've got him now!" and say "well that's what we have - 53 year low inflation" - the whole point is that we DON'T have that. It's just a manipulated number in time that doesn't even include energy and food.
