Without banks you and I wouldn't be having this conversation about banks on the internet, we'd both be sitting in unheated/air conditioned mud huts slapping at fleas and worrying about the bubonic plague, like people did back before we had silly things like banks and financial systems.
I just observed what seem obvious to me about the need of inflation, as I like to follow rates for market cycles. Yours is a closed mind hypothesis made in hindsight, which won't change my opinion on banks and debt.
A "closed mind hypothesis made in hindsight". From someone of your clear foresight and open mind I'm hurt, just hurt. Welcome to the forum. A little advice, maybe your second post isn't the best place to start with the ad hominem attacks? If, with all that foresight and open mindedness, you have an explanation of how modern economies would work without interest based lending, I'm all ears. That's called open mindedness, by the way, I offer to listen to your position instead of discounting it out of hand like your "open minded" self just did.
