i must jump in and say that i've since tried a TT feed on ninja and it is much better than transact even with the newer versions. i will not be going back, i'm officially a convert.

p.s. great experiences customer service wise with the folks at infinity and transact, but that couldn't overcome the DOM's routine issues.

Craig, I'm not sure I understand. You are at apex futures and have access to beta DOM software from Infinity/transact? Please clarify. Thanks.

  3. Apex is a division of Infinity which is a subsidiary of TransAct.

    Issues are not solved!

Infinity start lagging when Wall Street open

I uploaded this video that shows that Infinity AT is 3/4 seconds behind Ninja Zen

    Just observe the order execution....

I think there is a problem with their severs

    Overloaded?

  9. I appreciate you posting that. I just glanced at first couple of minutes there is lag, but I need to look at it closer after market. One of the cons with TA is they are one of the small broker in the biz. Check the CFTC reports.

  10. Hi Ronie & Dan

FYI on the fills on the simulator, these are generated by our software on your computer and not by our servers. Obviously, the live version receives its fills from our servers, but the demo does not. Believe it or not, but Live fills are typically seen faster than the Demo fills.

The video I posted a couple of weeks ago showed Infinity AT was neck-and-neck with Ninja ZF, even with AT showing 10 deep on the bid/ask compared to 5 deep with Ninja and what maybe filtered data on Ninja according to some recent posts on ET compared to unfiltered with AT. Your issue maybe linked to a conflict on your computer where Ninja takes priority over AT if two datafeeds are coming in at the same time. What are you using for a computer and what type of interent connection do you have? I can do another video and we can compare, just let me know when you want me to do one next?

Do me a favor and on the Scoreboard window click the "P" button and then the Communications tab and slide the "Performance Settings" to the left and if that doesn't solve it, try clicking the "Use Buffered Sends" box. Let me know how that works.

Dan, in regards to TransAct begin a smaller FCM, they rank about #40 out of about 130 registered FCMs, so not exactly small. Also, not so sure large is a good thing either, considering Refco was one of the largest and went bankrupt in 2005.
