  1. Hi everyone

Please find attached todays levels. The S/R numbers are in the black column, the MP, Pivots, Fibs, Simple Moving Averages and Summary Numbers are for confluence and information.

Always remember to use the numbers as a guideline for potential areas of high probability plays.

Always use a set up based upon your system to enter a trade
    .
    Good trading all

    ESResistance,

I’ve listed several websites that sell automated trading systems (robots) to be used for Forex trading. There are many more websites like these. They claim you can make money while you sleep. I am very skeptical....all of them sound too good to be true! However, all of these vendors offer a money back guarantee....so one could try it out with little risk.

In the advertisement Michael Chase explains how he hired a "leading industry programmer", Steven Phillips, to help him create his automated trading system. Therefore, if this fellow is telling the truth, then automated trading for individuals seems plausible.

Why would someone sell a money printing press? Be skeptical.

Looking at the non stop chnaging nature of the masrkets, it's very difficult for me to believe that a fully automated system exist. I'd be very sceptical, too.
From another point of view it's a matter of couple of hundreds dollars and money back guarantee. So the experiment might be interesting.

  7. ES,

Just came across your posts, the levels look great when combined with my own entry rules, thanks for posting, any plans to do the same for other contracts like the YM or Bund?

  8. The problem is we never know when it will have a big draw down or stop working all together.

  10. I tried trading someone else's system. Was doing ok and then I took a huge hit that wiped out all the profits I had with it. This was in September BTW, before the big crash.

I then typed in all the trades they reported for the year and looked at the performance. It was totally different than the backtest results they had shown for the prior years.

The problem for me was that I never could fully trust a system when I didn't know anything about it. I much prefer to trade my own systems even if they're not as profitable, because when they have a big drawdown I can investigate it and try to figure out why. And that gives me confidence.
