  1. Nice trade as well. Any profitable trade is a good trade as long as it wasn't an arbitrary one. :)

No chart room for me thanks . . . too much of a distraction. The occasional ET post keeps the day moving.

  5. Hi everyone

Please find attached todays levels. The S/R numbers are in the black column, the MP, Pivots, Fibs, Simple Moving Averages and Summary Numbers are for confluence and information.

Always remember to use the numbers as a guideline for potential areas of high probability plays.

Always use a set up based upon your system to enter a trade
    .
    Good trading all

    ESR,

Can you post the trades you took the day before in the newsletter in regards to the trades that really emphasize a solid clear setup that you took.

  8. Hey Ian

I will try to do that on the odd occasion, got a lot going on here at the moment. Believe it or not the worksheet does take me a while to put together, and with all the emails its tough to find the extra time. But I will sure try to put a few set ups out there.

Made some small additions to the worksheet to improve the variety of confluence data. Feed back would be welcome.

Hope all is well with you.

Just a note. I met a guy in the chat room yesterday that "flips" during trading hours using the ask/bid info on L2 and watches for block trades. I backtested it and really noticed that it shows the slowing of price very clearly especially during market hours. he doesnt post much and i think he wants to keep it that way, so i wont mention his name. blocks are 100 and under during trading hours and he filters orders under 20. Not sure on the best sizes premarket but I am looking at 50/10 possibly.

    * As an interesting point, he was able to predict a huge momentum change yesterday around the 864 area before it hit. He called it live by watching the blocks. Was pretty neat

As he explained it to me. You are looking for heavy volume (blocks) as you approach your target and then a drying in price for entry. It is usually followed by another spike in blocks.
